We have purchased a turnkey mid-terrace house, which includes a garage. The handover of the property is scheduled for 30.06.12.
However, we have unfortunately learned that the developer allowed our garage to be used by the neighbor who moved into his terraced house about three months before us, to store his furniture and other items.
Is the developer allowed to do this without informing or asking us first? We have noticed that the garage is already damaged both inside and outside due to this use.
Thank you very much

If this is a typical developer project—with house and land sold as a package and payment made in a few installments—the garage belongs to the developer until full payment is completed; therefore, they can use it as they please. This should not concern you as long as the garage is free of defects when handed over to you.
Best regards
