Hello,

I hope I’m in the right place and can get some advice!

We removed the chimney from our garden shed, and now there is a hole in the roof. I would like to replace the missing roof tiles. Can anyone tell me what type of tiles these are? --> see pictures
I can’t find them and I think they are not very common. If I can’t get them anymore, I would appreciate tips on how to close the hole. Thanks in advance!

Have you ever removed a roof tile and looked at the back? You will often find the company logo, the manufacturer's name, and sometimes the model designation.

Otherwise, I would suggest checking out Quoka or eBay Classifieds. They usually have all sorts of items being sold off cheaply, whatever people find in their sheds and want to get rid of to local buyers. You might find something there. Alternatively, ask a roofer, as they are knowledgeable about this.

There are also other ways to make a roof watertight.

And if you search for double pan interlocking roof tiles, you will find one or two similar (old) tiles… maybe that helps you further?!

I will do that. Thanks for the tip!

You can also waterproof a roof in other ways.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything suitable.

How would you patch the hole?
