Hello everyone,
what are your experiences with the window sill height for a built-in toilet flush system?
I have 3 options:
- 137cm (54 inches): flush button vertical
- 119cm (47 inches): button at the top (horizontal)
- 132cm (52 inches): impossible or I have to place the toilet elsewhere
THANK YOU for your help.

But in the worst case, the toilet seat lid blocks the switch. And I wouldn’t like it if the lid constantly hit the switch.

And what’s the problem with that? The lid is usually down or closing softly when you need to reach the switch.

The only issue I see is the hitting.

I don't need to worry about that, since I have it on different walls. The original poster had their concerns. If I were in that situation, I would change it. I wouldn't like it. Everyone just has their own perspective on things.

I just thought of a disadvantage if the switch is hidden behind the cover. When cleaning the toilet, I rinse the brush with the flush afterwards. In that case, I wouldn’t be able to reach the switch.

Yes, more examples could be given here. A full pot of water with softened residues is poured into the toilet. I would only close the lid once I see that everything has been flushed away.

What else would a guest toilet be for?
