We are currently building a single-family house and had the windows installed yesterday. Now we have noticed that there are different surface textures. Our window installer never mentioned or showed us this. We wanted smooth anthracite-colored uPVC windows. We also showed photos of how they should look on the house (similar to aluminum windows). Now the windows are installed, and we have grainy uPVC windows with frames that are not angular but rather rounded. It looks terrible. We trusted the window installer because he is my grandfather. He gave completely wrong advice, and now we are left very disappointed. It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s family or not. We are paying a very high price for something we never wanted.

If you haven’t signed anything, is there even an invoice?
Usually, an invoice includes all the details, such as quantities, sizes, and colors.
If the color listed there is different from what’s on the note, you can probably make a claim, but you can usually only deduct a percentage.
Regarding the profiles, I don’t think you can do anything.
Legal advice doesn’t have to be expensive. For an initial assessment, you can also use services like avocado or others, which cost between 0 and 30 euros, and that’s fine.
But I assume this was all done "under the table" without an order, invoice, or bank transfer?
In that case, it’s just bad luck.
Although DB703 and round profiles aren’t much of a loss. At least you got windows at all.

I believe TE is more likely telling the story of the dead dog here...

Just as I said... they’re filling the slow summer period. Those windows don’t even exist.
