Here’s a quick snapshot from my home office. Overall, there’s no visible difference compared to painted walls. I took a close-up photo of the stair railing. You can see how fine the surface texture is.
You just need to be aware that the walls are sandy (lime plaster), but we wanted to preserve the natural surface as long as possible.
With paint, the texture changes as well (then the sand grains are "covered" – everything looks a bit smoother). The shower was painted, so the plaster appears a bit smoother there...

Work continues steadily with us:
The exterior basement stairs were installed yesterday:

And the first tiles are in place:

The double casement window in the bathroom is now nicely framed – but could someone please clean it???

The underfloor heating is now fully installed on the ground floor:

And the basement corridor is now brightened up in white as well:

Thank you all
I enjoy these kinds of projects, so I’ve spent a lot of time on them. I designed the furniture myself, my husband handled the construction plans, and the carpenter had to build it (poor guy, oops). And when it comes to shopping for decorations, someone always has to hold me back. But we feel really comfortable, and that’s the most important thing!
Right now, we are building the terrace. We still need to add some wood cladding to the house, which we’ll also do ourselves. The woodwork is simply the most fun (except for decorating )
