Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I also find the thing without screed interesting, but the heating loops or underfloor heating run on electricity then, right?
No, completely traditional water-based system.

@Climbee nice house you’re building there. Is there a thread about your floor plans, etc.? I would be interested.

There is a very old thread, but the plans attached there no longer reflect reality.

Here are some relatively current plans (in the order: basement, attic, upper floor):

Basement floor plan with stairs, doors, walls, piping, and dimensions.

Layout of a multi-family house with rooms, doors, stairs, and dimensions.

Floor plan of a multi-story apartment layout with stairs, doors, walls, and measurements.

The venetian blinds are installed but still need to be connected. I was at the house yesterday, and the fireplace was primed in black without much care. However, you can already tell that the contrast with the white walls will make a great focal point. The stair treads will now be made of engineered oak wood, lacquered. Additional cost compared to beech is €1700.

Nice color tone on the exterior window frames. What is it? In my opinion, it's better than the very dark anthracite gray. Are they factory laminated?

RAL9007. Interestingly, like everyone else, we initially wanted RAL7016, until we found out that the bricks are only allowed to be light gray. After that, we searched for a lighter gray and found this color.

Yes, directly from the factory.

EDIT: My construction coordinator is worth their weight in gold. We found a landscaping contractor who will complete the site, terrace, driveway, and walkways for us within 3 weeks. Hooray

Who came up with this disastrous wastewater routing...
Good luck if it ever gets clogged.
Well, let's take it slowly and start from the beginning with all the information:

1. The entire system must be routed to the lifting station visible at the front of the picture.
2. Except for one line, these are just pipes from washing machines, sinks, and floor drains in KG storage rooms.
3. One of the lines without a circle simply shows the route of an empty conduit from the utility room (HAR) to the rear garden.
4. There are inspection chambers at two of the larger junction points.

From my point of view, this is not such a big issue. The wastewater pipes from the apartments go directly into the lifting station and from there straight outside.

A landscaping contractor who is available right now should be approached with caution.
