Hello community,

I’m having some difficulties with renovation plans in my very small bathroom. I want to replace the bathtub with a shower.

The problem is that on the left side above the toilet there is a single-leaf window that opens from the left. I want to avoid replacing it (condominium). The height from the floor to the window sill is 86 cm (34 inches), the window is 142 cm (56 inches) high, and the lintel is 24 cm (9.5 inches). One of my challenges is the possible fixing points.

I’m attaching planning sketches. Has anyone had similar considerations and good solution suggestions? That would help me a lot :-)

Best regards,
Zwusel

Why not make a floor plan sketch... the latest version was this:

To the left of the sink, that is, after the wall stub... a 90cm (35 inches) semicircular shower... and then to the left, the washing machine... so where is the toilet? As it is now? Who is supposed to access the washing machine then?

It’s a pity that my post was "edited" by the admin and that it’s not allowed to discuss clear examples of folding semi-circular shower enclosures here. The site itself advertises quite a bit between posts ;-(

I don’t see a satisfactory solution here.
If you’re already busy making changes, one might wonder if the adjacent rooms could possibly allow for a breakthrough and space for a shower enclosure?
Placing the shower only halfway in front of the window still seems impractical to me—regardless of the type of enclosure. It should either be a full glass enclosure spanning the entire room width or none at all. But then it becomes too tight for the rest. Squeezing the washing machine into this tiny bathroom is also quite challenging.
Show me the rest of the floor plan. Maybe we can knock down a few walls for you. 😉

The site advertises because your cookies tell the forum that you are looking for something like that 😉 . You agreed to the rules when registering, and according to those, links are simply not allowed. Mentioning names or a description searchable via Google would have been sufficient.
