The moving date has just been confirmed. It will be in either the first or second week of July. Today, the ceilings are being plastered.
Otherwise, everything has been finalized with the plumber, tiler, and parquet installer. The painters have also received their instructions.
This means the construction period will be exactly 9 months.
My construction coordinator is still trying to find a good landscaping contractor for the outdoor area. One declined, the other hasn’t said no yet. We are curious.
In other words, it’s the final sprint now.
The house without L-beams/modeling, without a carport but including waste disposal, architect, insurance, energy consultant, construction supervision, utility connections, painters, and all flooring will cost around €388,000. Essentially, the bare house as a fully finished, move-in ready property.

We have the same timeline. Groundbreaking was on September 3, 2018, and we plan to move in July.
However, we had an almost three-month construction halt due to that dreadful notary.
This means that if everything had gone smoothly (like on the construction site), we would be moving in right now, or would have just moved in.
In any case, the apartment lease has already been terminated as of July 31. So, we need to be in the new house by then!

Pile foundation? What are you building there? It’s not about what you build on it, but about how load-bearing the soil is. Our soil is poor, so our bungalow is being built on piles. I don’t want our house to settle like the highway did.- Previous
