Hello,

we are looking for interior doors for our new house. We want standard smooth white doors with a CPL (Continuous Pressure Laminate) finish. I’ve done some research online and found three manufacturers: Grauthoff, Prüm, and Hori. Hori is about 50€ (55 USD) cheaper per door including the frame. Grauthoff and Prüm are quite similar in price.

Can anyone share their experience with these three manufacturers, especially Hori, and whether the price difference is noticeable? Unfortunately, it’s not easy to visit a showroom in person to see them.

Thanks in advance

In the ground floor and upper floor, we have doors from Grauthoff. Even after 3.5 years, I feel the doors are very high quality. We have a 3-year-old daughter with a ride-on toy car and have not seen any scratches or damage so far.

Size 211x86cm (83x34 inches) with horizontal grooves and rounded edges

White interior door with handle in the hallway, colorful painting to the right; dark laminate floor.

In the basement and the granny flat, we have Dextüra doors, which were much cheaper at about 230 euros (around $250) including the frame. Visually, they are also a very good alternative.

Ok, thanks. I can get the Grauthoff door including the frame for €254 in 211cm x 86cm (83 inches x 34 inches), but I still need to buy the door handle set separately...

With the cross grooves? Then go for it, it's a very good deal.

No, but we don’t want those either...

Could you possibly post a photo showing the grooves in detail? I am currently looking for doors myself.
