ᐅ Does an angled extractor hood provide sufficient ventilation?

Hello,

We are currently looking into the topic of range hoods.
I am quite tall (1.85m / 6 ft 1 in), and when cooking, I am often bothered by the standard wall-mounted hoods because they are usually installed at a height of 1.80m (5 ft 11 in) or lower.
Now we are considering an angled range hood, but I have heard some negative feedback that the front panels are not adequately ventilated.
Do you have any experience with these? Maybe they have improved?

“Sufficient extraction” is quite subjective. In my experience with acquaintances, a Falmec Flipper works pretty well and is also quiet. Is that the kind of thing you are looking for?

Clear answer: yes and no. Buy Berbel and be happy. Otherwise, there are also downdraft extraction solutions, either integrated into the cooktop or just behind the burner, but this should be a panoramic cooktop.

Downdraft extraction works excellently with Bora. Unfortunately, you always have to purchase the cooktop together with it, and there were no full-surface induction cooktops available. So, it didn’t quite work out in the end.

We are extremely satisfied with our Berbel Formline.

Full-surface induction is available with the Basic, Professional, Classic, as well as the new Professional and Classic 2.0.

Edit: okay, I overlooked the word "full." However, that makes it difficult with a downdraft extractor.
