Hello,
We bought two kids' rooms for €2,500. Unfortunately, I made a mistake while assembling one side panel of the loft bed. Now there is a hole in it.
Yesterday, I went to IKEA hoping to sort it out. After a heated discussion, they said it was my fault for not reading the assembly instructions properly and refused to replace the part. They said there are no spare parts available, and if I want a replacement, I have to buy the entire bed again!
I also spoke with the team leader, but there was no goodwill at all. Everything was handled with the IKEA customer card. I would even pay for the single part, but there’s zero chance.
I can’t get through to the hotline. What are your experiences with online support? Do they respond quickly? Are they accommodating?
Not at the IKEA Koblenz store.

Nevertheless, I give up my seat on the train and bus for the elderly, sick, and pregnant. Those who pay little to no taxes through loopholes in Germany and illegally cut wood have no one to blame but themselves.

Have you ever considered simply not buying anything from them anymore?I have to step in for Zaba now. Honestly, this moralizing here is terrible, even worse than at a church convention. The best approach is probably for everyone to mind their own business, because as Federal President Heinemann said: Whoever points a finger at others should remember that four fingers are pointing back at themselves. Have you ever thought about just not buying anything anymore there? Actually, yes, but I’m not alone. There’s also my better half, who has their own opinion.
