Budget is less of an issue since we are building the house entirely by ourselves without a company..
we have already built two houses on our own without a company..
this is more about evaluating the proportions and the design.
And why should this be a Sims house?? Is it just me, or does this sound contradictory?
You have built houses yourselves, but you don’t understand why nobody can make use of your useless 3D model?
Did you also build the last two houses based on 3D models? xD
For someone who has already built two houses, you come across as a bit unprofessional, sorry 🙂
Best regards

KommaPlus15 Feb 2019 17:31Hello everyone, the first 3 images show the floor plans.
Image 1: Basement
Image 2: Ground floor
Image 3: Upper floor
Sorry if not all dimensions follow the official standards, but I hope this still gives a good overview.
Images 4 to 10 show different exterior angles.
Hope this helps to provide some clarity.

WilhelmRo15 Feb 2019 18:08Phew, in my opinion, a disaster....
- Access to the bedroom only through the bathroom
- The bed in kids’ room 2? ... no way
- Master bathroom: what is that dead corner behind the "T layout"?
- Office accessible only through the living room
- Pantry reachable only through the garage? Or are those open doorways?
- The hallway from the kitchen to the dining area would be wasted space for me
- Why a third bathroom on the ground floor? I hope a cleaning service is included in the budget.
- What are those cavities by the stairs? The 42cm (16.5 inches)
- Sloped doors (kids’ room/bathroom) always feel like a makeshift solution to me; they have nothing but disadvantages, aside from the fact that, in my opinion, they look awful.

- Slanted doors (children’s bedroom/bathroom) always feel like a makeshift solution to me, with only disadvantages, besides looking, in my opinion, rather ugly. Thanks for the constructive criticism, that’s exactly what I was aiming for
- I have considered adding another door immediately to the left after the entrance but don’t mind having just the one door
- On the left side of the “T” I imagined a towel radiator and storage space
- The office is intended to become the master bedroom later, which is why it has access to the bathroom
- The pantry is accessible both through the garage and via a sliding door from the kitchen
- I designed the “hallway” to the dining/living area so you can see straight through the house from the front door to the garden, with no dining table in the way. The house should look open and airy (you can see through the house from multiple points)
- The third bathroom on the ground floor is meant as a guest toilet and later can serve as the master bathroom
- The 42 cm (17 inches) wide open space is to visually lighten up the staircase, which should look like the one in the picture below
- I tried many options for the sloped ceilings upstairs; this seemed like an acceptable solution… I’m happy to hear suggestions for improvement!
