Hello again,

there are so many decisions to make when building a house. Since the building area requires red to reddish-brown roof tiles, we now have to find a tile that we like.

Does anyone know of a tile with the word "red" in its name but that comes in a darker shade?

We actually wanted an anthracite-colored roof, but that’s unfortunately not possible.

One more question about the type of tile: how can you effectively prevent the growth of moss and other green deposits? Is this only possible with glazed roof tiles?

Best regards,
Ostsee

There are several suppliers offering "deep red" and "reddish-brown" roof tiles.

You can achieve this effect cost-effectively with double-coated roof tiles as well; additional cost is about €1.70 per square meter (per 11 sqft) of roof area.
