Hello forum,
I want to renovate my bathroom (have it done), but it’s incredibly difficult. So far, the companies haven’t presented any good proposals. The window is also problematic, but I am allowed to replace it with a double casement window (approved). One side could be fixed, which would no longer be a major issue.
Maybe someone here in the forum has a brilliant idea? The bathroom needs to include a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The drain for the toilet is at the back right next to the window.
Best regards
Zwusel

Wow, this is really a challenge. First of all: Do other apartments in the building have the same bathroom layout? If so, maybe you can get some ideas from your neighbors.
Can pipes be rerouted? Is it possible to reduce the size of the window? Probably not, right? Is it possible to have the door open outwards?
I felt the same way just now 🙂

Strange! Somehow I always thought the door was at the top of the plan and the window at the bottom.
So I hereby retract my previous answers!

How is one supposed to use the toilet, please? You can only use it from the side. Or standing up :-P
Honestly, this is quite a situation... Is that the only bathroom??? Does everything really have to be squeezed in there? Then just leave it as it is. It probably can only get worse... At least this way you know what to expect ;-)

Here is my quick idea. I’m not sure if the dimensions are actually feasible. Especially since you still need to be able to enter the shower and load the washing machine... The washing machine would be moved to the opposite side, with a shower next to it up to the window. If the window can’t be reduced in size, I would install a glass shower screen inside, directly in front of the window. For the toilet, choose a space-saving model that doesn’t protrude further into the room than necessary. There would still be room next to the toilet for a shallow cabinet.

That’s exactly what I was thinking as well (or rotating the toilet as it is now), but then the window would definitely need to be altered; otherwise, it can’t really be opened.
