Looking for opinions from professionals with relevant experience. Who can share their insights from experience?

Does this look good?

223.5mm (8.8 inches) thick doors in rooms with a height of 263cm (8 feet 7.4 inches) – or are the doors visually too large for the room?

But I found an image on the internet that shows doors very similar to ours...
White door in hallway, wooden staircase on the right, dark floor tiles, bright entrance area.

Elegant? In my opinion, that doesn’t fit at all, and I haven’t seen it like that anywhere else either. Tastes really do vary that much 😉

That looks completely out of proportion. Like a person with a torso that’s too long compared to their height :o

Fortunately! But you often see that in magazines like "Schöner Wohnen." It’s like with ceiling heights – some people want them as high as possible, while others find rooms over 220cm (87 inches) uncomfortable.
