Hello everyone!
We have purchased a triangular plot of land. As if that weren’t complicated enough, there is also a large oak tree that must be considered during the planning. In our initial considerations, it quickly became clear that the floor plan will have an L-shape.
Does anyone here have experience with this type of plot and a correspondingly shaped floor plan? What additional information is needed to get meaningful advice?

You can’t fit enough rooms in, and there are no right angles either. For example, the resulting southeast corner doesn’t have a right angle, and so on.

Believe me: I don’t have any plans yet, only my hand sketches! Do you really want to see them?
We have had preliminary discussions with an architect, but haven’t officially hired one yet. Understandably, he is keeping a low profile and doesn’t want to start without a contract.
What we have done so far: commissioned a soil survey and a land survey. We haven’t received the results yet.
Again: I have no intention of taking anything without providing input!
