Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

A brief update from us.

The drywall installers have finished their work. Tilers, painters, electricians, and plumbers still need to come in, and the planned move-in date is December 1st.

Today we noticed, after being away from the construction site for a few days, that one window is positioned too far to the left :-( The entire house is symmetrical, and we only looked at the windows from the outside in the plans... Tomorrow I’ll talk to the masons, but they actually want to use facing bricks... My wife wants the window opposite to be moved as well, just to restore the symmetry. I am driving myself crazy.

How many centimeters (inches) are we talking about?

We ourselves don’t know yet, maybe 20 cm (8 inches), any idea why?

Is the window asymmetrical according to the plans, or did the masons make a mistake?
