New day, new excavator. Now there are two. Did the excavators get wet, or did you feed them during the night?

Was a half-landed staircase also an option for you? I think they always look quite nice, but maybe even more expensive? No, we didn’t want a half-landed one because if the treads go all the way to the wall, you eventually get a dirt edge there, or if there’s more gap, everything can fall through. Plus, we prefer the look with stringers.
Price… yeah, the price
a solid 11,000 for the downstairs with risers and upstairs without risers.

However, for example, the temperature control on Miele appliances is clearly better than that of BSH and thus Neff. In what way is it better? Ease of use? Temperature stability?Kekse schrieb:
BSH is far less uniform than often assumed; only Bosch and Siemens are generally identical in construction. Neff is structured completely differently, including which appliances (and features) are available. Well, at least for the cooktops, there are identical Neff and Siemens models that differ only in the color of the plastic parts inside (Siemens blue, Neff burgundy). My impression is rather that there are certain (standard) appliance series that are identical, and then each brand has additional independent lines, like Siemens’ Studioline, for example.
For us, it will be Miele (cooktop) and otherwise Siemens Studioline (for aesthetic reasons). For the oven, we were also long committed to the Neff with Slide&Hide, but fortunately we changed our minds. After some thought, we couldn’t see the benefit of that feature. On the contrary, if something splashes on the glass, you end up pushing the mess down into the drawer below. Yum. Also, the mechanism takes up space that would otherwise be part of the cooking cavity, which, after initial enthusiasm, ultimately didn’t convince us anymore.

Fortunately, we managed to get through it, because after some thought, we couldn’t really see the purpose of it anymore. This is to allow easy cleaning of the interior when, due to the height and arm length, it’s not possible to do so with the lid open.

Quite the opposite, if something splashes against the glass, the mess gets pushed down into the garage. No, there is enough space—usually just a splash of grease or something similar ends up there anyway.
