sco0terHello,
I am currently considering tiling our half-turn concrete staircase leading to the basement with the same tiles as on the ground floor.
And covering the concrete staircase to the upper floor with wooden steps.
Do you think it looks okay if both staircases have different finishes?
I have seen a few pictures where the two staircases had different finishes, and it generally looked quite good.

As long as you stay "on pattern" for the respective floor, I wouldn’t see any problem with it. :-)
