Hello everyone!

We are looking for a suitable floor plan for our hopefully soon-to-be new home.

We visited several show home parks, and the Maxime 300 by Viebrockhaus really caught our attention.

I have attached the relevant floor plans for you.

We really like the layout a lot! We were immediately enthusiastic.

The only change we would want is to mirror the entire upper floor. In other words, we would like the main bathroom and master bedroom to be located above the kitchen and dining area.
This change is because of the beautiful view we would have then. We would be overlooking an open field and the scenic Wiehen Hills.

What do you think overall about the floor plan, and is it even possible to mirror the upper floor considering plumbing and other technical installations?

Do you have any specific suggestions for improvements?

I would really appreciate some opinions and ideas.

Best regards!

Modern single-family house with dark brick, white accents, solar panels, garden, and terrace.

The couple, who have no children, have already realized that the two rooms upstairs are unnecessary; instead, it would be better to have an additional room downstairs...

I agree! An extra room on the ground floor is very practical. No one really likes going upstairs to the office.

And why on earth would you want an amazing view in the bedroom?

For some people, their conscious start to the day only happens in the bathroom, for others, it begins immediately upon waking. Credo, crehehedo!

I find it nice to have a symbolic break between the home office and home = quitting time.

I often spend time in the bedroom because I do my ironing there; there is also a dressing table. Where do you do your ironing?

Best regards,

In the future: in the laundry room. Until then, preferably in almost any room rather than the bedroom. Currently, in the living room.

I imagine that would feel quite uncomfortable; for me, the TV is always on during that.

A TV will be installed there as well (none is planned in the bedroom, though). Just like my sewing area. Ah, I’m really looking forward to it.
