Golfi90Hello everyone!
We are looking for a suitable floor plan for our hopefully soon-to-be new home.
We visited several show home parks, and the Maxime 300 by Viebrockhaus really caught our attention.
I have attached the relevant floor plans for you.
We really like the layout a lot! We were immediately enthusiastic.
The only change we would want is to mirror the entire upper floor. In other words, we would like the main bathroom and master bedroom to be located above the kitchen and dining area.
This change is because of the beautiful view we would have then. We would be overlooking an open field and the scenic Wiehen Hills.
What do you think overall about the floor plan, and is it even possible to mirror the upper floor considering plumbing and other technical installations?
Do you have any specific suggestions for improvements?
I would really appreciate some opinions and ideas.
Best regards!

Are there already children living in the house?
If not, you can place the bed in the nursery for the time being. If yes, you might want to consider whether your child enjoys the nice view more during the day than you do at night while sleeping.
Simply mirroring the layout is only possible if the ground floor is mirrored as well. This can only be assessed once the entire plot is known. Otherwise, the upper floor needs to be redesigned since the staircase cannot just be moved to the side.

The view from the children's room wouldn’t be bad anyway! Please don’t misunderstand. The house would be fully detached without any direct neighbors.

What immediately caught my attention: make the bedroom accessible through the walk-in closet, then you can also remove that annoying crooked door and straighten the wall.Is it really nicer to go through the closet to get to the bedroom?

Absolutely. At least if you don’t always get up or go to bed at the same time. Then the person who comes later or leaves earlier won’t disturb the other. And just to get rid of that awful 45° door, it would definitely be nicer Yes, you might be right there. I don’t find the 45° door very appealing either. But we would have accepted it.
