I’m personally interested in whether you have furnished your new house with Ikea furniture, and if so, where. It doesn’t matter if the furniture is new or brought from elsewhere. Please check all applicable answers.
If you like, you can also mention whether you mainly chose case furniture or upholstered pieces.

That was not referring to the assembly service but rather to the subtle wording "IKEA or furniture store".Sorry, that was not my intention....
Of course, IKEA is also a furniture store, but with the self-pickup warehouse it’s more like Aldi or Lidl, where the products are stocked on the shelves in their boxes.
IKEA does offer fairly affordable furniture, but I find their delivery and assembly service quite expensive, and those are not carried out by IKEA employees but by subcontractors.
“Our” furniture store delivered and assembled the kitchen free of charge, and after one year, an employee came to check if the doors and drawers needed readjusting.
Overall, the Nolte kitchen from a “different” furniture store was roughly the same price but came with more service.
And as I said, I really like IKEA furniture and would have gladly chosen a kitchen from there, but the price of the assembly service was unfortunately the deciding factor against it.

And as I said, I really like IKEA furniture and would have liked to get a kitchen from there as well, but unfortunately the price of the assembly service was the dealbreaker The assembly service is really expensive at 200 per meter. For us, that would mean 1,400 euros (approximately $1,500) just for assembly, which is too costly. We will have all the parts delivered for 25 euros (around $27) and then pick everything up ourselves and assemble it. Calling it a kitchen assembly party doesn’t sound so bad after all.
The only "challenging" furniture is an IKEA kitchen due to the large number of boxes. Every cabinet frame and drawer has to be assembled. Otherwise, with the Metod rail system, it has become really easy to properly install the kitchen on the wall. It was significantly more difficult with Faktum.
We outsourced the assembly of our last IKEA kitchen for one-third of the price through MyHammer, and the work was top quality. The assembly service offered by IKEA is outrageously overpriced.

Kitchen from Ikea with delivery and assembly at unbeatable prices here. Good quality so far. Everyone who sees it says, “Wow, it’s from Ikea? Great.” Cabinets, shelves, bathroom furniture, lighting from Ikea. Table partly from Ikea. Garden furniture from Ikea except for the beach chair, which they don’t have. We like to buy there often and in large quantities. Karsten

Otherwise, it has really become easy to securely attach the kitchen to the wall using Metod’s rail system. Absolutely agree! We equipped our laundry room with METOD over the weekend – the rails work great!
Besides that, we have Pax wardrobes in the dressing room and a Malm bed.
There are also some custom-built furniture pieces from a carpenter. I always think a healthy mix is the way to go.
And a few times a year, a trip to IKEA is just a must – they sometimes have some pretty nice decorative items.
