I’m personally interested in whether you have furnished your new house with Ikea furniture, and if so, where. It doesn’t matter if the furniture is new or brought from elsewhere. Please check all applicable answers.

My sister (ground floor) and her daughter (upper floor) have recently redecorated. My sister works in a furniture store and is quite knowledgeable. Still, neither of them follows every trend. They don’t have built-in wardrobes at all – they choose the furniture they like best and then wallpaper the walls around it. I think it’s absolutely brilliant. - Hallway: Besta (used as shoe cabinet); Tjusig
Planned for the future:
- Office: Metod/Pax
- Small bathroom: extension with Metod + countertop
Conclusion:
We like the IKEA furniture; it is affordable, matches our taste, and is easy to assemble. I can definitely recommend it!
I would have liked to get the kitchen from IKEA as well, but since we had to assemble so many other pieces, we didn’t have time for a complete kitchen. Plus, with IKEA’s assembly service, the cost would have been about the same as our Nolte kitchen from the furniture store.

We have Pax units in the walk-in closet and the hallway. They are great! I was already really impressed by the Pax in my mother's walk-in closet and am genuinely happy to have them now as well!
In the utility room, we have these wooden crates mounted on the wall. We had them in the kitchen of our rental apartment.
In the "older" child's room, the wardrobes are Stuva and Trofast. But we preferred the bed from Flexa. The younger child still has a Paidi nursery set. Later on, it will probably be a mix of Flexa and Ikea.
