Livestrong18 Jul 2011 21:19Hellooooooooo 🙁 😀
Hello,
ETICS --> External Thermal Insulation Composite System
Why styrofoam?
Whether that is okay cannot be determined for (reasons known to you).
See this discussion 😉

Initial exterior wall: 17.5 cm (7 inches) Ytong with 16 cm (6 inches) Neopor as an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) or whatever it’s called 😀.

plus a sub-rafter insulation with 3 cm (1 inch) styrofoam.

Livestrong21 Jul 2011 10:54Then the forum no longer makes sense to me. It doesn’t matter anyway—I’ve finished the planning, and I saved on an energy consultant since the neighbor took care of that.
Hello,
It definitely does make sense. Because if you follow the given advice, you can be sure that your house is truly "designed," with building components and heating systems optimally coordinated rather than just randomly put together.
Is your neighbor an energy consultant or something like that?

Livestrong21 Jul 2011 17:12I have no idea what your profession is, but when I read your posts, it gives the impression that you are trying to make money and secure contracts here. I have provided you with all the data from the description and other topics, but you don’t want to say anything. The paid energy consultant was able to do that 😉 My house planning is complete, but I know I couldn’t find any help on the internet. More so in the green forum, but even there you just find people acting like top architects 😀
Hello,
So what now? 😕
You don’t want to understand, do you?
With the information you provided, it’s not possible to make reliable, solid statements about whether it’s sufficient for your house or not. Saying you want KfW70, triple-glazed windows, aerated concrete, 16cm (6 inches) ETICS, and 200mm (8 inches) insulation mats simply isn’t enough. Even your “neighbor” wouldn’t be able to make sense of it, I bet. 😉
It wouldn’t help you if someone just said, “Wow, 200mm insulation in the roof—that’s something. Just do it that way.”
Why is it so hard to understand that house planning isn’t just about putting four walls together and installing a heating system? A house is a complex structure that needs to be planned in detail, considering many parameters.
