On the ground floor, we have a rough construction height of 2.75 m (9 feet) everywhere. In the office extension on the right side of the picture, it is 3.5 m (11.5 feet).
Best regards
AxelThank you, in picture 3 it looks that tall, almost like the extension with 3.5 m (11.5 feet). It looks great, a really beautiful house.
Hello everyone, here’s another update from me. The kitchen has now been installed. A few things are still missing, like the dishwasher and two cabinet doors... It was important to us that everything is floor-to-ceiling and ceiling-high. The floor has also been laid, using oiled Haro country plank flooring in amber oak. It’s starting to really look like a home now.

The perspective in the photo is a bit misleading since our house is almost two meters (6.5 ft) above street level. Originally, it was planned to be lower, but due to the location of the sewer and the required slope, it couldn’t be otherwise (unless we had installed a pump – but we preferred to rely on gravity rather than technology).
A roof terrace, surrounded by a masonry parapet, will be added on top of the extension in front of the house. Visually, this will indeed be at the same height as the current study extension.
Best regards
Axel
Yes, it’s the same here. The construction management coordinates everything—which they do very well—but they are not on site very often.

Oh, okay, I’m not familiar with general contractors, so having an expert is definitely important!
Really nice! Both the kitchen and the flooring.
