Hello.
Can anyone tell me if a T30 door is required on the ground floor between the hallway and the utility room, which also contains a gas boiler, in NRW?
Best regards

Why is that? An older building?

New construction of a single-family house. So far, I have only talked to people who said that a standard door is allowed there. However, an official from the building authority mentioned during a conversation that, due to the gas heating system, a T30 fire-rated door must also be installed leading into the hallway...

I've never heard of that before, but maybe North Rhine-Westphalia is acting up now? [emoji848]

I followed up again with the building authority (one level higher of competence). The initial statement from the building authority was nonsense. A standard interior door can be installed between the hallway and the utility room with the gas heating system.
