Unfortunately, we also had to choose a red roof and paired it with anthracite-colored windows. I think it suits the house well, but our roof is a very dark red-brown (Nelskamp burgundy red).

I also find anthracite roofs much more attractive, and I don’t mind at all if many other houses nearby have the same color. I’m even glad when it doesn’t get too colorful! The standard color "red" was common too, so why not anthracite if you like it much better?

Camouflage house? Would that be located in the city center or on the edge of the forest?

Well, it’s good that everyone likes something different.
I’ve never been very fond of the (tartar) yellowish brick... but I also don’t care much for the “modern” dark purple/eggplant colors or the bush-hammered finish either *shakes head
