Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Morning. The driveway will be finished soon.

Otherwise, not much has changed since yesterday.

I filled in gravel between the garage and the neighbor’s property (20 wheelbarrow loads) with a fabric liner underneath, hopefully preventing any weeds from growing through.

This week has definitely been very demanding so far.
Narrow gravel strip between white wall and wire fence.

Wire mesh fence next to concrete curb, gravel in between; a wheelbarrow with a shovel in the front.

That looks extremely narrow – what trained monkey is supposed to clean that properly?

When I hear things like this... I really wonder what these idiots are actually doing while they work. Are they playing on their phones? Do they have the attention span of a fruit fly?! How can someone simply forget something like this? Unbelievable!
If they can’t reliably remember and focus on routine tasks, they should just make a checklist and follow it. It’s really shocking what customers have to put up with.

No, it’s not exactly nice... The garage is built right on the boundary line – the neighbor (a retirement home) placed their L-shaped blocks a bit unevenly.

I hope the landscaping fabric under the gravel will keep most of the weeds at bay. Besides, we’ll only really see that corner when standing behind the garage. So it’s not a big deal.

At least the screws were untouched in a bag that was located on the ground floor. A multi-utility house entry is just a complicated thing [emoji85]

I’m just glad nothing serious happened

Probably just unskilled laborers by now...
