What Do You Like Most? Why? Side driveway to garage, direct access from garage to house, separate apartment concept, open ground floor design, upper floor is perfect in our opinion, gallery
What Do You Like Least? Why? Living/dining area is somewhat too large (wife worries it may be hard to arrange cozily), bedroom window position in the separate apartment is tricky, (north entrance → long access route for guests)

What usually happens with the final plans is exactly what is happening now: improvement suggestions keep coming up. Or, if not many changes are accepted, people keep emphasizing how resistant to advice one supposedly is. That’s why I only followed the forum during construction — after that, no more changes were possible, and posting a short excerpt helped to avoid lengthy discussions.
But you have to keep that in mind, between all the remaining tasks and the need for rest...
(By the way, I would shift the wall between the children’s rooms according to the plans, so that both rooms are more balanced in size and the fireplace doesn’t stand alone in the middle. There are also a few things I would do differently personally, but I really like the overall layout!)
