Hello, I am building a bungalow in a kind of U-shape with a gable roof.

The bungalow is 24 meters wide (79 feet) when standing in front of the entrance.

Has anyone here built something similar? I’m still trying to figure out how to make this 24-meter (79-foot) wide house look attractive.

It shouldn’t look like a retirement home complex :-)

As soon as I have something from the designer, I will upload it.

I would really like to see some examples of house fronts with a similar style.

Thanks to all of you

No garage and at most one carport are planned.

It has nothing to do with the lottery either.
We are building 145 m² (1,560 sq ft) plus a 75 m² (810 sq ft) granny flat.

I see. Should it look more like a single-family bungalow, or should the design clearly distinguish between the main dwelling and the granny flat?

The width is not so common for typical houses, so you probably won’t find many examples.

It should look like a separate unit. In the right section, my mother-in-law will live, and there will be an external entrance to the utility room, which will also serve as our secondary entrance.

No one really needs to worry about the gardening for now...
I’m also very curious to see how it will look in the end. Is building limited to only one story?

No, it is also allowed to build 1.5 stories...

We currently live in a bungalow and don’t want to miss that anymore. I specifically chose this plot so that we can have everything on one level.

The most important thing for us is a nice living and dining area with an open gable ceiling. But of course, that’s all a matter of personal taste.

Hello

Our house has a similar size: 145m2 (1560 sq ft) of living space and a 70m2 (750 sq ft) garage.
The southwest side measures about 29.5m (97 ft) and the northeast side 23.5m (77 ft).
I will try to upload some pictures this evening.
