Hello, I would like to have a walk-in closet connecting the bedroom to the bathroom. I find this very practical and modern. Unfortunately, my partner is completely against it because he thinks that if children use the bathroom, it could get noisy.
I need arguments against this concern. Aren't two doors enough for sound insulation?

I don’t quite understand this thread [emoji28]...
What does the bathroom and terrace location as well as the open space have to do with the original poster’s question here? Strictly speaking, nothing.
The original poster wanted input on the layout regarding passage from the bedroom, through the dressing room, into the bathroom.
I shared my previous layout options as input and explained our reasoning behind them.

Sorry, that last version with the small internal bathroom and the access for the parents going all around the bed, through the dressing room and then into the bathroom... no, that just won’t work.
What’s wrong with the original plan? Instead of the open space just make a small bathroom. And position the walls between the bedrooms and Child 2 more square and better aligned.
If necessary, you could reduce the space for Child 1 a bit to allow a “public” access to the rooftop terrace.
Or rethink the whole layout together with the ground floor. Possibly place the stairs elsewhere.
When do you expect to use the rooftop terrace?Plan 1 is not an option because the public access to the rooftop terrace squeezes the adjacent room to only 2.75m (9 feet) wide. That is insufficient for either a child’s bedroom or a bathroom.
The only remaining option would be to remove the planned passage from the bedroom through the dressing room into the bathroom and shift the dressing room to the north.
The internal WC is initially intended to be used as a storage room but will be prepared for possible use as a toilet when the children are older.
The rooftop terrace is meant for relaxation: reading, sunbathing, having a beer, and the children can play there in the fresh air. The plot is completely open to the north with no neighboring houses or building sites. So it is ideal as a quiet area, while the terrace on the south side faces the street.

Oh... but your focus seems to be somewhere else [emoji6]
Maybe you'd be better off starting your own floor plan discussion?!That’s true. However, I want to start a discussion only once we have reached an agreement ourselves.A second door to the bathroom is impractical and also takes up a lot of space.
I assume your walk-in closet will be open to the bedroom, so I think the noise factor is quite justified. Especially since even quiet children need to use the toilet at night and early in the morning. The walk-in closet will also need more space to accommodate the door to the bathroom.
You can do it, but it costs space (space = money, flexibility).
Have you considered an en-suite bathroom? In my opinion, that would be the logical step, but it requires an additional bathroom, and the master bathroom usually isn’t the “large” bathroom.

the public access to the roof terrace What exactly should one imagine under something like that?

But I want to start a discussion only once we have agreed among ourselves At first, I just wanted to say that I also think that would be better than interfering here like an overlapping radio signal. Then I looked at your thread history and saw that you already have your own floor plan thread: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/efh-Stadtvilla-160qm-Wohnfläche.25706/ (???)
I think we should discuss your topic there.
