I hope this is the right forum for my question. Does anyone here know of any brick manufacturers?
I have already looked at the following:
- Röben
- Hagemeister
- ABC-Klinker
Thanks for your help.

Please describe more precisely what you are looking for: full brick or brick slips, traditional brick colors or trendy shades. It seems to me that the manufacturers’ strengths vary in this regard. On which wall or surface are they supposed to be applied?

We are currently in the process of choosing the facing bricks, so I’ll join the discussion here.
We are planning a cavity wall construction using aerated concrete blocks and an outer layer of facing bricks. Since we are building a traditional northern-style house, we are looking for a mainly red brick that has a somewhat rough texture but does not look too busy.
At the moment, we are leaning towards the Raben Formback multicolor, flame-fired brick.
Perhaps someone has an alternative suggestion? We would like to consider a few more options. Is there a manufacturer that is particularly well-regarded in this area?

Maybe someone has an alternative suggestion? In my opinion, the combination of red tones and parrot colors in the example image is a bit too intense.
As an alternative, I would consider using "reclaimed" bricks, especially for the old Reichsformat size, which now has quite a wide market. This option would provide a color tone that is not too uniformly calm but also not as brightly speckled.

We have an appointment this week at a building materials supplier and want to take another look and get some advice.
I would also like to discuss issues like water absorption and efflorescence once again.
Overall, I find very little information on the topic of facing bricks / cladding bricks to prepare myself. We attended a building trade fair a few weeks ago, but even there honest information was scarce.
Therefore, I would appreciate it if anyone could share experiences with manufacturers, the selection process, or provide a useful link.
