Hello,
I was working away from home this week and stopped by the construction site briefly this evening.
I couldn’t believe my eyes.
The main contractor installed the interior window sills, but they protrude by at least 10 cm (4 inches), and probably around 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) after plastering.
Isn’t that unusual nowadays?
That was common practice in the past when you needed to hide radiators underneath.
Now all the issues begin, but surely it can’t stay like this, right?
Best regards,
Daniel

The construction specification simply lists window sills made of artificial stone.

You file a complaint. If only rude remarks come back, you don't pay for it. "We always do it this way." It’s difficult to determine, does this belong to the plastering? Payment is made in installments.

I would definitely file a complaint about windows with Tussi clips. What exactly are Tussi clips?
I am 25 years old and also prefer the wider ones, so I installed those myself.
If it was not documented anywhere what should be installed, there is nothing you can do except hope for goodwill.
I mean, he can’t know if you want narrow or long ones, and since nothing was documented, he might have assumed you didn’t mind. So, it’s unlikely he will change it on his own unless you pay for it.

If I still have to hold on to that beforehand, then I honestly don’t know anymore.
But I swear, if that’s the case, I will personally tear those things out on Saturday—that’s for sure.
