Hello,

we have just completed our own home. Now we want to install LED spotlights in the eaves of our city villa. Is it possible to install them from the attic and, if necessary, change the bulbs there, or do you have to climb onto the roof for this...?
I would be very grateful for any advice.
Best regards

With LED spots, replacement should be very rare—typically every 5 to 15 years—and usually involves the entire fixture when it does occur.

There will always be that one spot causing problems, despite the promised lifespan. This is especially true for outdoor areas.

I would really appreciate any insight.

Well, in most cases you can install the spotlight from the inside. Simply lower a string through the opening, pull the spotlight up on the string, and then install it from there. There are also many spotlights where the light source can be replaced from the inside. For example, I have Absinthe Clickfit. With these, you can either change the bulb only from the inside or you have to remove the spotlight. However, I’m not sure if these are suitable for outdoor use. But there should be plenty of comparable spotlights for exterior installation.
