Hello,

We have a Geberit Sigma concealed cistern installed in our new build. Today, we fitted a rimless toilet bowl.

Unfortunately, the water doesn’t quite reach the front—so when a man urinates there, it stays dry during flushing. I have since set the cistern to the maximum water volume (6 liters) (1.6 gallons), which slightly improved the situation, but the water still doesn’t fully reach the front.

So now the question to the group: whose fault is this? Do you have any tips?

Thanks!

Hmm, what does your plumber say? Or was it installed by an external contractor (my current favorite topic)?

He doesn’t say anything... he quoted 460€ for the wall-hung toilet frame and 247€ for the seat, so we decided to do everything ourselves with an in-wall installation.

Urinating while kneeling.

Thanks for this fantastic tip!!!!!!!

But seriously: what could be the reason for this? I have checked the inlet and outlet pipes at the back for the correct length. No more water can go into the flush tank.

Seriously... the toilet doesn’t fit the cistern. There simply needs to be more force. To be frank, since Geberit cisterns aren’t exactly uncommon, the toilet was probably, as you yourself already suspect, a bad purchase. Ebay classifieds....Karsten
