Hello,

A pin has fallen out of a window. It is located above the handle in a metal plate that can move up and down when the handle is turned accordingly.

What can be done?

Thanks & regards
Leo

P.S. No idea how to assemble it correctly:

Hello Teamplay,

Is the pin that fell out of the window hinge still intact? Usually, this pin is broken, and then you can’t fix it yourself anymore and will probably have to call a window fitter.

Hello leini,

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I have no knowledge about this. Can’t you tell from the photos whether the pin is intact or broken?

Hello,
since you (leini) already mentioned in your post that you don’t really know much about this, I would leave it to a professional. They will properly repair it if it can be fixed, or replace it with a new one. I would advise against trying to do it yourself. You might end up causing even more damage.
