ᐅ What features did you include in your house, and what did you decide to leave out?

Hello,

When planning and building a house, you focus on the essentials and the budget. Some wishes get dropped along the way. But certain small luxuries or nice features are important to you, even if they are not strictly necessary, and you end up including them anyway.

For us, a heated conservatory was an unattainable dream. However, we treated ourselves to tiled, walk-in showers, even though they take up more space.

I would love to hear what you have given up and what you managed to include.

Best regards

With Steffen, the budget is strictly controlled, and it shows.

Steffen is the type of person who says, "That has to be three times as expensive as what they’re trying to sell me," "What do you mean by that?...", "Three times as expensive!!!"

At least, that’s my impression.

Oh, I’m happy for him. Everything that’s there, especially the projection screen and so on, I would have taken as well if there had been enough money left.
But I don’t know if I would have posted all the details here like that, including prices.

We also have a home theater with a ceiling-mounted projector, a retractable screen, and a THX system... Of course, you could spend $25k or even $100k on that, but in my opinion, a third of that amount is enough.

Well, there is surely something for every requirement and budget.

For me, it will first be the HDMI outlets and power sockets for the projector in the right location, [emoji3]
