When it comes to building, I am completely new to this, so I would really appreciate having someone to guide me through the process.

I have recently met a financial expert/real estate agent (by the way, connected through my construction company) who has offered to support me until the house is completed. Payment would be on a fee or commission basis.

Have you had any experience with this?

What other qualifications does this contact have that would qualify them as an "external construction consultant"?

Does a financial expert or real estate agent really understand construction? In my opinion, if they don’t have relevant building training, it’s probably a waste of money.
