Hello, today I had to wait for an hour and only had my notebook with me... so I just doodled a bit.
This is my very first draft of the ground floor, and it probably still has quite a few mistakes.
What I’m curious about is whether there are any major errors here (for example, the staircase?).
North is at the bottom right.
One square represents half a meter (0.5 m / 20 inches).

Wow, some people really come up with interesting ideas.
It will definitely be brighter in the stairwell.
Since I rarely wear shoes inside the house, I find having the stairs next to the door impractical. The same goes for having the shower and bathtub in the bathroom on the way to the toilet.
I think it’s great that you’re approaching the planning this way. The floor plan we took to the architect was rectangular. The house was built along the slope, and now it is square at the end.

MIA_SAN_MIA__25 May 2017 08:09New attempt. I tried to avoid the mistakes from version 1.
The pantry is now in the northeast, the bathroom can have a window, and I have a staircase leading down to the basement. Only the kitchen is quite far from the entrance.
What probably won’t work is the connection to the garage. Otherwise, I won’t get a yard that’s large enough because I have to move the garage so far forward.

The pantry is 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches), right? That’s too narrow. Unfortunately, I’m not at my computer right now, so I can’t provide a link. In terms of style and layout, it’s similar to our floor plan. You could try looking it up. There’s also an interesting discussion about the size of the pantry [emoji6]

MIA_SAN_MIA__25 May 2017 08:24I noticed that too. That's why the small arrows point upwards at the staircase and pantry.
