ᐅ How to Clean a Lift-and-Slide Door?

I have an issue with my lift-and-slide door. After only 1.5 years, dirt has accumulated on the fixed part. Since it doesn’t look very nice, I wanted to clean it. However, I can’t reach the spot because the sliding door is always in front of it. I have attached three pictures: one with the door fully open, one half open, and one closed. I hope this helps to better understand the problem. The dirty part is visible in picture 2, but the glass pane is in front of it there.

If the sliding doors are closed, you should still be able to reach all the panes, right?

If you look at the middle image, you can barely see a dark stripe running from top to bottom... to the left of the rubber seal... in reality, it’s a bit more noticeable... when the door is closed, as shown in image 1, the left frame of the sliding door is in front... when it is half open, as in image 2, the glass pane is in front... when it is fully open, the right frame plus handle are in front (see image 3)...

That’s unfortunate!
From the outside, it should be possible to get in between – though tricky, it might be possible to achieve something with a damp sponge on a stick.

I thought more people would have this problem since many have installed lift-and-slide doors... that’s why I was hoping for a “secret tip”... well, we’ll see..
