House 110 sqm (1184 sq ft), bungalow. So, one level. Drywall ceiling, plastered walls; in the bathrooms lime-cement plaster, elsewhere gypsum plaster with lime content. Painting work includes filling, sanding, painter’s fleece, primer, and lightly tinted or white emulsion paint. In the bathrooms, fiberglass mesh over tiles on the walls, painted white with latex paint. Eaves painted with brackets. Quote 3800 gross. Is this ok?

The more I think about it...the wage is 42 gross.
Is the offer a fixed price or just an estimate?

And for the materials, is it just one large sum?

This is a phone call after inspecting the shell of the building. I don’t expect lengthy written documents from tradespeople, just a single word that counts. Karsten

The problem is often that some people no longer clearly remember what they once said.
For minor details, that’s not a big issue, but in my case, everything is documented in writing.
