Hello everyone,
As we are currently looking into buying a kitchen, we are interested in the fairness of the asking prices. Our experience so far has been that price reductions of 25-50% off the initial prices have sometimes been offered.
To get a better idea of what constitutes a reasonable price for a kitchen, rather than focusing on "how much of a discount can I negotiate," I would like to see a list of your kitchen purchases:
Manufacturer:
Kitchen studio:
Initial price:
Final price:
I hope this discussion will help readers by sharing real experiences, leading to a fair interaction at the kitchen showroom, without either party feeling like they have been taken advantage of.
Best regards,
Sascha aus H

Nice example. So far, I have *felt* like I only had experience with your second kitchen showroom. That’s why I started this thread. Because I wanted to find a dealer without sky-high prices. How was it in Bargteheide?

Regards, YvonneBargteheide? Did you mean Buchholz from your suggestion? Otherwise, we were at Möbel Kraft in Buchholz and at Küchen Aktuell in Rahlstedt – where we'll be heading again tomorrow.

What kind of approach do they have at KüchenAktuell?
I’m interested in whether KA generally operates in a similar bargain-style way and we just had a good salesperson, or if KA is different.
Regards, Yvonne
Our first visit there was really influenced by “the kitchen costs €20,000,” but then I said, let me ask the manager. So, for €15,500 you can have it.
Of course, we haven’t signed anything yet – every two weeks we got a call.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow, will gladly report back.

Steffen8014 Mar 2017 08:49We made it clear from the start: "Please provide the correct price, no speculative prices." We were then quoted 33,000 EUR. We managed to negotiate it down to 31,000 EUR. However, the offer still showed the "catalog price" of 47,000 EUR.
I wonder what they are trying to achieve with that....
