Hello!

We are currently building our single-family house and want to equip it with surveillance cameras.

I have already found a set online (4x LAN cameras).

In addition, we want to install an intercom system with a camera. I have already selected a system (camera and doorbell) that connects to the router via a LAN cable. When someone rings the doorbell, the image is transmitted to the cordless phone, and you can unlock the door from the phone.

My question:

Is there a system that, when someone rings at the gate, shows me a live image from a surveillance camera pointed at the gate and allows me to open the gate via the phone?

I hope I have explained myself clearly.

Thank you very much

Noted....

The implementation should proceed regardless. Please no further advice on what is permitted, etc. Thank you.

Well, then you simply point the camera in the camera module upwards...meaning it will show the person ringing the doorbell from below...that should be sufficient...

The implementation will proceed anyway. Please no further advice regarding what is allowed, etc. Thank you.

It is surprising that someone who is building a wall around their property and even plans to secure it further with technology cares so little about applicable laws and regulations.

But please: back to the topic

Best regards in brief

Every modern and reasonably good surveillance camera nowadays has a privacy feature... and with that, all discussions about what can or cannot be seen in the footage become obsolete...
