We have a garage with a gable roof. The shell of the building is complete, and the roof is in place. The gable ends at the roof area are not built with calcium silicate bricks. This means there is a shell with four walls and a gable roof on top. Now, the garage facade is going to receive a brick veneer. Up to the height of the ring beam, the brick wall will be connected to the calcium silicate wall using masonry ties.

But what about the gable area? Can the brick veneer stand independently there?

What is the current progress above the ring beam? The ridge beam won't be directly supported by thin air, will it?

What does the construction company or the architect say about how it should be done?
That might make it easier to evaluate the project.

The construction company no longer exists, so I wanted to ask here.

There are also wooden houses that can be finished with brick cladding. From what I have read, different types of anchors or dowels are used for this.
However, these usually cannot be mounted at an angle on the existing beam layer, so I think a wooden wall needs to be built first or additional wooden framing has to be added.

Do you already have a new construction company, or are you planning to do it yourselves now?
Otherwise, the new company should be able to provide a proposal for this, right?

Are there construction drawings and execution plans available where this might be identifiable?
