ᐅ Construction door: only burglary protection / better materials – plaster, screed?

Hello,
we have finished the shell of our house, the windows (except for one damaged one that needs to be replaced) are installed, and the rough-in plumbing and electrical work is complete.
The plasterer will come next week.
So far, we don’t have a temporary construction door, and we are now wondering if it is really necessary. Does everything need to be sealed tightly because of the plaster or screed? Or is it mainly for protection against theft?
We have three entrances. The window installers can provide us with one construction door, but we would need to seal the other entrances somehow (plastic sheeting, boards, or is there another option?).
I’d really appreciate any advice on this.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for your advice!
We will first inquire about the delivery times for the front doors.
Then we will decide how to proceed.
Most likely, we will install one construction door and board up the other two openings.

We live in a rural area, and neither the electrician nor the plumber complained that there were no doors installed (and initially no windows either). Only when it got colder did they start to complain because they were freezing ; )

That's true. In a village, there are no problems, especially no thieves or insurance terms and conditions, which don't really apply there : P

I didn’t say that this doesn’t exist here. But next door to us is a large secured company with staff on site around the clock. And in recent years, nothing small has gone missing there. That’s why I’m actually less worried about it ; )

The gangs that steal pipes and cables also drive through the village... I wouldn’t rely on that.
Or the drunk local youth might stop by the construction site on their way home from the trailer...

Actually, everything has been said: secure your building shell and it will be protected.
Without security, nothing is protected...!

However, I need to return to your arguments and hit hard.

The large monitored company next door does not concern the insurance company, nor can the past simply be transferred to the future.
That way of thinking is _too_ naive. If something really does happen, you will end up paying dearly with your arguments. That can hurt—in every respect, not just in housebuilding.
