Hello,
can someone tell me what this construction is called?

Wooden roof frame with visible rafters and beams in the attic

It’s not a prefabricated truss, right?

This is not a truss roof; it is a purlin roof.

Stupid question, but is a truss roof always the same? Or are there different types? I mean, if I say I want a truss roof, would my roof structure look like that? I found various pictures online; some show a roof structure with a spacious open area, while others are full of wooden cross braces, and so on.

This is a hip roof with a purlin roof truss. The boards you see at the top (connecting the rafters) are called "collars." The sloping wooden beam in the corners is called a "hip rafter." The rafters connected to it are called "common rafters."

A tent roof or pyramid roof designed as a purlin roof with a standing roof frame / ridge posts. It is not a prefabricated truss but a conventionally crafted roof structure. The load-bearing connection between the bottom purlin and the masonry is not clearly visible, however. The shell construction may possibly be a timber frame structure, with mortise and tenon joints between the wall studs and the bottom purlin.

Why would you do that, especially since it is no cheaper than a traditional carpentered roof structure?
