Does it make a price difference if a beech staircase is oiled or lacquered?

If so, how much can this affect the cost for a staircase with a 2.5-meter (8.2 feet) floor-to-floor height, quarter-turn, approximately 4 meters (13 feet) in length? The treads, posts, and handrail are made of beech.

I would appreciate any response.

Oiling instead of painting should cost us an additional approximately 250€.

For all inquiries, only the type of wood caused price differences.

Thank you very much, for me it is 1700 euros, which I find, to say the least, unreasonable.

Does this come from the construction company or the "manufacturer"?
