Willibald12 Apr 2010 17:04It is said to be one of the largest and most reputable manufacturers of prefabricated basements. I have seen the name somewhere before, but I don’t know any details. It just seems unusual to me that a basement can be built for 9999 €.
That price must include the excavation, utility connections, drainage, insulation, ground floor ceiling, basement windows, etc., which is why I’m asking: Has anyone ever received a prefabricated basement for 9999 € and can share their experience?

has anyone ever received a prefabricated basement for €9999 and can report on that? Hello Willibald,
I wouldn’t believe that nonsense!
These are promotional offers with a long list of exclusions and nothing is truly all-inclusive!
For that price, you might get exterior walls made of 14cm (5½ inches) concrete and that’s it.
A finished basement for a standard house of about 9 x 8.5m (30 x 28 feet) costs at least €30,000-35,000, anything else is not serious and not credible.
The most important thing is to have a soil survey done first; the foundation, slab, and basement waterproofing all depend on this.
Also, the structural engineer’s and architect’s requirements must be strictly followed, which makes a fixed-price basement impossible!
Best regards,
Hoernle

Willibald13 Apr 2010 08:51I found the offer online,
for the house, and it states:
Winter wonder basement price 9999.00
and when I asked the seller by phone,
he said this would be the "basic basement," complete, whatever that means, but I think I’ll ask for it in writing first,

Hello Willibald,
We are curious about what kind of basement or house is being offered! Most likely, the costs of the basement are hidden within the ground floor and upper floor. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be possible! Just let us know if you have any documents about it.

Who exactly is Mr. Bauherrenhilfe? I’m happy to do that because it all sounds a bit strange to me. What’s important to know is whether it’s a full basement or if anything will be added later?
