Hello everyone,
We are planning to build a single-family house soon. Our building plot measures 15.4 x 45 meters (51 x 148 feet) in area.
We want the house to be a townhouse-style villa with dimensions of 9 x 11 meters (30 x 36 feet).
The idea is to use the full width of the plot (15.4 meters / 51 feet) by building a single garage on both the left and right sides of the house, right up to the property boundaries. Ideally, each garage would then be about 3 meters (10 feet) wide.
Are these dimensions too narrow for comfortable entry and exit from a car? And for unloading groceries?
Thanks for your reply.
Regards

Not necessary.
A garage integrated into the house is indeed significantly more expensive than a standard precast concrete garage.Painkiller is referring to the idea with the two separate garages.,

There is no need for two separate electric gate openers.

Wouldn't a mid-terrace house be the more affordable option then 😉 I don’t understand...?
