ᐅ The common issue of frequently used doors on kitchen cabinets

After more than two years of living in the house, some doors of our brand-name fitted kitchen are starting to sag. That means some are sticking or have shifted one to two millimeters (about 0.04 to 0.08 inches) at the top corners to the left or right.
Certainly a great question for our expert @Neige 🙂
Is it possible to fix this yourself? And if so, which screws on the hinge control which adjustments?

Best regards, Yvonne

I would also ask, and when they come, watch closely during the installation.

@ all, thank you very much! *kiss
I called them, and unfortunately, they no longer perform their advertised 1-year inspection after... *clears throat 33 months 🙁
However, they do offer a service for €49.

Although @Neige sent me great instructions (which I’ve printed out and set aside for later) and I’ve previously tinkered with my Ikea cabinets with varying success (so I know that applying too much force to the wrong screw can eventually make the whole door misaligned), I’m still scheduling an appointment.

I do like to save on these kinds of services, but my husband and I are currently building the greenhouse, and right now he’s laying an 8-meter (26 feet) power cable across the lawn 😳… The carpet in the hallway isn’t glued down yet, and soon it will be Christmas anyway :p

Have a great weekend 🙂

Keep the invoice safe, transfer the money, and then claim back 20% with your next tax return.

You can build a greenhouse, but you can’t adjust a screw on a kitchen door that takes 1 minute? 🙂
